Everything that shipped this month, in one place. Each entry links to the full story where there is one.

Everything that shipped in MITO in October. New things first, then models, then what is leaving.

Director

Director takes calls

Tap the wave icon in the Director panel and describe the idea out loud. Director builds while you talk, and the call works in a phone browser. On paid plans.

How a call works →

Director edits the timeline

Ask Director to cut your clips together and it edits the timeline itself. The timeline also exports to ProRes now.

Shot planning and the timeline →

Director reads your files

Drop a PDF, a video or any reference onto the canvas and Director pulls out what it needs, from tone of voice to product details.

Keep every generation on brand →

Templates

Starting points made by the MITO team, now in the sidebar. Swap in your own product or cast, then generate. Twelve to start with.

Tutorials

The Tutorials page is rebuilt around courses and quick tutorials. One row per section, and every See all view has level filters.

Folders and private projects

Group projects into folders and drag a project onto a folder to move it. Make a folder private and only the people on its list can open it.

Who can see what →

Location Scout

One image of a location becomes four matching views, so the room stays the same room in every shot.

Upscaling and slow motion

Ask Director to upscale an image or a video to a higher resolution, or to slow a clip down.

Lip sync and dubbing

Match a character’s mouth to any voice track, or dub a video into another language.

Smaller things

  • Crop, rotate and flip Image results in place.
  • Avatar Studio takes voice clips longer than one minute, and QuickTime files.
