CharacterThe protagonist is Jordan: dark-blond straight hair with a straight fringe, fair skin, slim build, a brown, beige and blue checked blazer over a cream collared shirt and brown trousers. Calm, stoic and expressionless throughout, until one small satisfied smile at the very end. The product is a slim matte cream-yellow MITO can, the logo in large terracotta letters with SPARKLING ENERGY and ZERO SUGAR below, identical and legible whenever it appears. That can is the only drink in the whole film: no passenger holds or drinks from any bottle, cup or glass in any shot, and their hands hold newspapers, rest on laps, or gesture while talking. Passengers behave like a hidden-camera documentary of ordinary travellers: relaxed postures with small weight shifts, heads turning and nodding while listening, soft blinking, eyes moving along a newspaper, small hand gestures that match the conversation. Everyone moves on their own rhythm, never in unison, nothing stiff or theatrical, and nobody looks at the camera.
EnvironmentA single vintage 1970s colonial-era passenger carriage: mustard-yellow and teal walls, carved dark teak, brass lamps, lace curtains, luggage racks, a bare dark plank floor, red padded tufted seats and a glass-topped wooden door at the far end. Passengers are dressed in period style. One colour treatment holds across every shot: warm golden-amber highlights, soft creamy contrast, consistent saturation on the mustard and teal walls and the red seats, the same skin tones, black level, grain and halation. No shot runs cooler, greener, flatter or more contrasted than the first, including the close-ups and the exterior platform shots. Freezing time does not change the grade.
Shot sequence
0–2s

Symmetrical wide shot down the centre aisle at eye level. Jordan walks slowly and confidently toward camera between the seated passengers, who behave naturally around him. The camera dollies back and he ends in a chest-up close-up, staring into the lens. This shot sets the grade for the whole film.

2–4s

Locked-off wide down the length of the carriage, passengers fully alive. Seated neighbours hold quiet casual conversations, one speaking while the other listens, glances, nods and answers, then looks away out of the window or down at a lap. Conversations overlap and fall out of sync, with natural pauses. Low-key everyday behaviour, never performed for the camera.

4–6.5s

Locked-off close-up at seat height, held a full two and a half seconds. The MITO can sits still on the window ledge in sharp focus, its cream body and terracotta lettering fully readable in the golden light. Beside it, softly out of focus, a woman keeps talking with small hand gestures, a newspaper on her lap. Dust drifts in the sunbeam.
