Three products, three stunts — Vol. 6
The Opera billboard
Static opening. She holds the compact still, with only a subtle breath and a blink, while pedestrians keep walking in the street.
She lowers the compact slightly, turns it so the white MITO logo faces the camera squarely, and holds it out in her right hand.
She brings the compact close to her chest, logo to camera, and gives a warm, confident smile straight down the lens.
With a playful flick of her right hand she tosses the compact forward toward the viewer. It leaves the billboard plane, breaking the screen boundary in a convincing 3D illusion, growing larger as it approaches the camera and starting to fall, while she stays inside the billboard, smiling. A whoosh carries the throw.
A real, live-action hand with natural nails enters from the bottom edge of frame in the true foreground, reaches up and catches the falling compact.
Rack focus with the camera otherwise unchanged: focus shifts from the billboard and the Palais Garnier facade to the compact in the hand, so the background melts into soft creamy bokeh as the compact becomes sharp.
Final hold on the sharp close-up of the red compact in the real hand, lower centre of frame, the white MITO logo legible and facing camera, soft Parisian daylight, architecture in soft bokeh behind.
