EnvironmentMorning inside a sumo training stable, a plain dirt training ring on a bare earth floor, wooden posts and walls, low sun coming in through high windows in hard shafts across the dust, no crowd and no seating, a few other wrestlers squatting silently at the edge watching. Filmed on a phone from the edge of the dirt ring, barely a metre away, looking slightly up. Shaky, autofocus hunting, exposure shifting between the bright shafts and the dim interior.
Shot sequence

Two rikishi crouch at the lines, fists to the dirt, absolutely still. They charge and collide with enormous force, the impact heavy and physical, flesh compressing, feet driving into the dirt, dust kicking up into the light shafts. They lock up, grip each other's belts, and one drives the other backward across the ring toward camera until he steps out over the edge directly in front of the lens and the phone jolts backward hard.
